SUTRA:

•  SUTRA stands for Susceptible, Undetected, Tested (positive), and Removed Approach.

• It is being referred to as Covid supermodel which is being commissioned by the Government of India.

• It was designed as a data analytics tool to give forecasts regarding the COVID cases in India and its spread.

• The SUTRA model uses a data centric approach, whereas other models use the existing number of cases, the behaviour of the virus and manner of spread.
