MOODY GROWTH PROJECTIONS
It lowers India’s growth projection from its earlier estimate of 13.7% to 9.3%.
The reason for lower growth projections is the second wave of COVID-19.
Further the Shortage of vaccines and logistical difficulties in effective delivery of vaccines to large rural populations [about two-thirds of the population] complicate the vaccine roll-out and thus acting as a hurdle in tackling the second wave of COVID-19.
This in turn will lower down the pace of economic recovery.
