India- UAE relations

News: Indian External affair Minister went for  a meeting with the UAE foreign  minister, at the same time Pakistan Foreign Minister was also in UAE.

Meeting outcomes:

• It focussed on post COVID recovery both economically and socially.

  • Thus indicating India’s concern about re-employment of nationals who lost jobs in the Gulf country during the pandemic.

• It focussed on taking up bilateral cooperation which started in february 2021.
