Hetero-boosting refers to boosting the effect of the previous vaccine with another vaccine.

Karolinska Institute, which is situated in Sweden, created an antigen using the new variant RBD peptide with adjuvant. It was inoculated in monkeys who were already given available vaccines.

The resultant response was high and broad in spectrum.
